As Saskatchewan entered the latest stage in which the public health order expired as of February 28th, 2022. COVID-19 Health and Safety Measure will remain in place at our location until further notice.
OBGYN Ultrasound Centre has aligned with Saskatchewan Health Authority to keep mask use in place at our facility. We will continue to follow the current precautionary measure to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure for our patients and staff.
We shall continue to screen patients and require screening for essential family/support persons to reduce transmission of COVID-19 in our facility. This will help us protect our most vulnerable patients.
Please note that until further notice:
We understand not everyone will be familiar with the guidelines for communities’ health care centres. We ask if you have any questions or concerns about any of the precautionary measure outlined at our facility that you contact us before your appointment.
In addition, we are monitoring and following the latest recommendation and guidelines of Saskatchewan Health Authority as well as Saskatchewan Professional College and Associations. As further announcement arises, we will continue to update you on any changes to our health and safety protocols. Thank you for continued trust, we appreciate your support and understanding as patient safety and priority.
Beginning on April 20, 2022, OBGYN Ultrasound Centre will begin to transition to self-screening at facility entrance with self-screening being fully implemented by the end of March. When you our facility on or after February 28, you will be asked to review these questions:
Screening Questions
1. Do you have a cough or fever?
2. Do you have muscle ache, chest pain or difficulty breathing?
3. Are you currently under federal order to isolate or quarantine due to recent travel?
4. Have you or someone in your household tested positive for covid-19 in the last 10 days?
5. Have you had any covid symptoms in the last 24 hours?
If you answer YES to any of these, do not enter the facility.
Please answer all questions truthfully and continue to follow the mandatory masking policy. Everyone entering an OBGYN facility is still required to wear a medical mask. Masks will be available at the reception if you do not have one.
As we begin to live with COVID, we all need to work together to protect our vulnerable patients and to keep our staff healthy.
